“APEX's timesheets used old excel templates. Time data had to be manually entered into accounting software. In addition to consuming a large amount of bookkeeping time on a monthly basis, it also restricted the amount of information that project managers had throughout the month, including the amount of time spent on a project by various employees.”
How did the process work to find a solution to this problem?
“APEX and Arrai met to establish how our business works at a foundational level and how our current timesheet and accounting systems work. Arrai would then prototype their proposed solution to APEX. APEX would then review internally, provide feedback, and iterate until we found the desired solution.“

“We now have a web-based application that provides a user interface for timesheet data collection, quality assurance and control tools, project management, budget reconciliation, and accounting functionality.“

“APEX's quality of timesheet tracking, and manager review has improved measurably. We now have metadata about our projects that will allow us to perform budget reconciliation and make more robust informed budgets for projects in the future.”
